Subject: Fantastic sound
this recording and the other night have fantastic sound. Phil is very up, maybe too much so, I use my tone control to bring him down a little bit. Midrange guitars have a nice liquid 3-d quality that is hard to come by. Great imaging and just enough crowd to know that it is an FOB.
I love many of the shows later on in this tour. Hershey for one. However, I am having a real hard time getting into the performances. Just doesn't seem to be much "it" there. I will keep trying to get into them though, just based upon the sound quality which is really outstanding. 6 stars for sound, 3 for performance.
